Drops are finished in Summit; bus wire is needed for Summit and needs to be installed before other things can be completed.
VII. Old Business
Open House: Frank brought up that there were not enough visitors for the last open house and a discussion ensued about possible reasons: Dave L. reported that he heard people do not come because of parking difficulties. Bev will look into contacting the Alderman’s office to obtain permission for parking in the lot only for the designated open house dates. She will work on this after the first of the year. Dave also suggested holding the open house in conjunction with the park district open house. John asked if we need to have a spring open house. Someone suggested that the weather is better for the 2nd spring open house.
VIII. New Business
a). Christmas Party, Bev needs a count of how many will attend the party. Salads are needed. We need to talk to the park district and give them a gift card for $400 for their Christmas party. Membership approved expenditure.

b). Bob installed new magnets on various sidings. Dave will put new lights at the Georgetown Station. Members approved the lights. Bob asked about putting in water spouts big station platforms. Approved to get some.

c). Ground throws with controls will be installed in Summit.

d). There was a new application for membership from Cathy, Fred, Frederick Van Dorpe. This is the first reading.

e). It was decided to leave room on the set up tracks. John M. suggested a steam era train and a diesel era train be placed on the tracks for people to run.

f). January meeting will be for layout planning and a January operating session will be scheduled.
