Operating Night: Friday, April 30, 2004

The crew callboard shows the night's assignments

This burro crane was called out of Georgetown for a minor incident in Bridgeport

The assortment of cabooses on Georgetown's caboose tracks is
indicative of the variety of roads that the Club's members model. Seen here
are cabooses from the Garfield Central, Norfolk and Western, Wisconsin Central,
Maine Central, New England Central, and Bay Colony

A high-hood GP38, still in primer paint, pauses at Summit while the job's crew completes
some waybill paperwork in the caboose

The same primer-gray GP38 backs a 70-ton load of ketchup down the new spur
in Summit, for delivery to the Bleekman's Ketchup transload/team track. The caboose and
single Wisconsin Central boxcar stand on the main. This job would eventually pick up the same 3 Wisconsin Central cars
spotted here in March. Note the GCMRC plaque above and to the right of the Northern Pacific hopper: "Founded 1947 A.D."
