Clarendon Gap and points East
We emerge from a tunnel into Clarendon Gap
As we arrive a Metra rail train is departing on the outbound track.
That Metra train is a long way from home!
As we make our final station stop on the modeled portion of the GC, a Union Pacific passenger train pulls in headed west. That UP train is more like it!
We pull out of Clarendon Gap and head past a manual coal dump with a car waiting
Coal is king on the GC
Finally our train races through a small gap in the mountains as it speeds toward the East and off the layout.
From here it goes into the East Loop, a reversing loop hidden under summit
