April 2004 Work Report

April was a busy month on the GC.  Down in Williamsport, the signalling crew (Pat Reardon, Terry Hartland, Dave Urschel) have completed detection in the Williamsport loop.  Signals, being built by John Molls, will follow.  Meanwhile, planning for the "new" Summit continues. Jim Jansen, head of the layout committee, has appended an interurban trolley line to the "master plan" discussed last month.  This line is in the process of being finalized as part of the overall Summit plan, but expect tracklaying in Summit to begin shortly (May).

That's it for the April 2004 work update. Our apologies for the lack of pictures, but everone was too busy to take any work shots during April.  Stay tuned, as May '04 will feature some exciting progress on these ongoing projects.
