June 2004 Work Report
Tracklaying continues in Summit. By the end of June, most of Summit's ties had been laid
and glued down, awaiting stain. The below images detail the trackage at the east end of Summit. The branchline features
additional spurs as it runs east, then a passing siding forms before 5-plus spurs enter the area of the paper mill:

Two spurs and the runaround at Summit East are seen here

The branch and runaround lead to about five separate spurs which will serve the paper mill, to be
located near the spot of the blue cookie tin in this view

Part of the hillside in Summit has been removed to make room for the paper mill and
associated trackage. The tabletop will be extended to support longer sidings and additional buildings
That's it for the June 2004 work update. July '04 should depict completed tie-laying in Summit.
Actual tracklaying will begin at that point.
